The gel solution inside our packs is composed of  baking soda, vinegar and water. The durable, outer covering, or glove, is PVC plastic that is BPA-free and latex-free. Inside each pack is a small stainless-steel disc that is shaped like a contact lens.

When the disc is clicked, a crystallizing chain-reaction begins in the gel that causes the pack to heat up to approximately 129 degrees F in a couple of seconds. The soothing heat is noticeably more comfortable than an electric heating pad: no drying electrical heat, no electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) to fear and no electrical cords to struggle with. Users also comment that their Click It Hot Packs stay hot much longer than their microwavable heat packs, eliminating the need to re-warm it every 15 minutes.
